How we began

Our story.

The story behind our little world for babies, toddlers and the families who love them.

The Little Borough shopfront at 90 Church Street, Weybridge

The Little Borough began as an idea I simply couldn't let go of.

Just five months into motherhood, I found myself dreaming of a place where families could slow down. Somewhere children could play freely, parents could catch their breath, and everyone would feel genuinely welcome.

That dream became The Little Borough.

From the very beginning, our vision has been to create more than just a play café. We wanted to build a space that grows alongside families: a place where a baby can visit at six weeks old, return at six months, then at two, four and six years old, discovering something new at every stage of childhood.

We wanted parents to feel just as cared for as their little ones. A place where you can enjoy a hot coffee while your child explores, where feeding a newborn feels comfortable, where friendships are formed, and where every family feels seen, supported and included.

Every corner of The Little Borough has been designed with intention. From our imaginative role play village to our gentle sensory experiences, every detail reflects our belief that play is one of the most important parts of childhood.

Today, The Little Borough is more than a business. It's a community built with care, purpose and love. Every smile, every first step into imaginative play, every birthday celebrated and every family who chooses to spend time with us reminds us why we started this journey.

Thank you for being part of our story. We can't wait to continue growing alongside your family and creating special memories for many years to come.

Welcome to The Little Borough. We can't wait to meet you.

With love,
Ares' Mum

What makes us, us

Little things, thought through.

A sensory room for babies

Soft lighting, tactile play and calming sound, for the littlest ones long before they're ready for soft play.

Made for siblings

Zoned so a baby and a busy toddler can both be happy at the same time, with grown-ups close by.

Real food, local roots

Freshly made with McLaren's Fine Foods, supporting our high street and raising the bar on play café food.
